Christmas Carols at the Bank

This is a photo of PS10 singing Christmas Carols.  I tried to figure out what year this photo was taken based upon the sign in the background announcing that PS10 would be singing "Christmas Carols" on Wednesday, December 19th at 11 AM.  According to the Almanac, the year was 1956.  That sounds about right.  My guess is that everyone in this chorus photo was in 8th grade in 1956.  So, everyone in the photo (and I can name a few) can now find out exactly what he or she was doing at 11AM on December 19, 1956: Singing at The Greater New York Savings Bank's Main Office on Fifth Avenue, between 9th and 10th Streets, in Brooklyn, N.Y.  I believe the teacher with us was Mrs. Doyle, although I have no idea how I came up with that name.  If anyone can put a different name to that teacher, I'm willing to believe it.  Unfortunately, the line down the right side of the photo can't be gotten rid of because it's a crack in the old photo.
